Greater Accra regional communications director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Adams Sabo has expressed disappointment over the true state of the nation’s address delivered by the NDC.
This comes after the party chairman, John Asiedu Nketia had delivered what the party termed as the true state of the nation’s address.
However, speaking on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, he stated that he thought the NDC would have delivered an addressed backed with data, but the party did the contrary, as there was not even a single assertion by the party which was supported with facts and data.
“I thought the NDC would have backed their assertions with data, and that would have led to an intellectual analysis debate. But I was taken aback, upon knowing that the presentation on the true state of nation’s address wasn’t supported by data”, he said.
He noted that he never though that it’s a party chairman that challenges an address delivered by a President of the republic. Since the party is yet to elect a flagbearer, the leader of the party in Parliament could have done that because the address was even delivered in Parliament.
Adding that “are these the people claiming to be the alternative to the current administration? NPP has never had such a party chairman like the NDC currently has. However, its bent but not broken- Afterall, they are our brother and therefore we need to teach and help them”.
