Chairman Wontumi has questioned the ability of former President John Dramani Mahama, to protect Ghanaians.
“You couldn’t even protect guinea fowls, how much more human beings?” Wontumi said, referencing a controversial claim that guinea fowls flew to Burkina Faso under Mahama’s government.
He also labeled Mahama a liar, casting doubt on his credibility.
Speaking exclusively to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, Chairman Wontumi expressed enthusiasm for Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s policies, particularly the implementation of a credit scoring system.
This, he believes, will encourage Ghanaians living abroad to return home.
“With a good credit score, you can get loans to purchase cars, houses, and more. But in Ghana, it’s a different story,” Wontumi noted.
However, Wontumi’s endorsement suggests that Bawumia’s vision for Ghana’s economic development resonates with some key stakeholders.
