A communications member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Solomon Assante, has reminded the National Democratic Congress (NDC) how they went to the International Monitory Fund (IMF) for a bailout with former President Kufuor’s achievements.
He said this when he joined Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on 22nd August, 2022.
Mr. Assante said that ”the president is currently on a regional tour to monitor projects that have been worked on in the various Regions. The 61 road projects, the various bridge projects, the ultramodern Youth Employment Agency(YEA) office has been commissioned on his tour. The water project which was also recently commissioned will serve over 400 thousand people to improve the Upper East water supply, the Yendi Sports Stadium, agenda 111 and the pro-poor government policies that government says are non-negotiable and that everyone must benefit from the national cake. The Akufo-Addo led administration is working tirelessly for the growth of Ghana”.
”The NDC’s circulated false propaganda about the Kufuor led-administration, meanwhile it was the same good records they used for the $918 million IMF loan. Another 8 years is almost here- Ghanaians must not fall for their lies again”, he added.
He advised Ghanaians to be vigilant as the country heads towards the poll come 2024 to continue the better Ghana agenda.
