Former Ashanti Regional Organiser, Daniel Agyenim Boateng, has cautioned Ghanaians especially the youth to desist from reigning insults on anyone with the hopes of gaining favor.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Agyenim Boateng advised the youth to have a focused mind, which would yield positivity instead of insulting the authorities on people’s behalf and expect to gain favor or benefits.
He said ”I’ll plead with the party’s up and coming youth to be patient, so you’re not tempted to insult people in authority on someone’s behalf. Why because, if you think by so doing you’ll gain favor and be rewarded when they come to power, I’m sorry for all of you the youth then.
With experience, let me cite an example, I’m sure you know my saga with Amoako Tuffuor, may he rest in peace. What kind of service didn’t i render to him, but eventually when he came into power, i became a stranger to him so to the up and coming NPP youth, if you are listening to me, lets be careful, focus and make sure you give your best wherever you find yourself, be it education or skill training.”
