Zongo Communities Will Support Dr. Bawumia – Yakubu Alhassan

The NPP Organizer for Canada, Yakubu Alhassan, has expressed confidence that the Zongo communities will rally behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in his bid for the presidency.

He cited the presence of the Wontumi media station in Zongo areas as a positive influence, emphasizing that the future of the younger generation is at the heart of this support.

“Our children’s future is our concern,” Alhassan stated.

“We can push Dr. Bawumia to become president because, one day, our children will say, ‘This is what Dr. Bawumia achieved during his time in power,” he said.

Alhassan highlighted that the Zongo community’s support for Dr. Bawumia is rooted in his personal competence and leadership qualities, rather than solely his background.

He criticized the opposition NDC, accusing them of engaging in tribal politics and neglecting the Zongo communities.

“The NDC is not a party for Muslims to support because they have never appointed a leader from the Zongo community,” he argued.

“The NDC wants to control the Zongos, but we are done being controlled. This time, we are voting massively and decisively for Dr. Bawumia.”

He urged the Zongo communities to shift their loyalty from the NDC to the NPP, asserting that Dr. Bawumia’s presidency would mark a significant step forward for their collective progress.
