Government’s spokesperson on social services, Alhaji Yussif Fafona has noted that vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is the best person to lead the NPP into victory 2024.
Speaking on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV and Wontumi Radio he explained that the 2024 election will be a crucial election and thus the party needs someone who can easily walk into both churches and Mosque and have been accepted and trusted by both faith- someone who could easily speak to people from every and that person is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia…
Furthering that it’s just Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who could win election for the NPP in non-traditional areas in the Volta region which is the stronghold of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, “the NPP lost majority of its votes during the 2020 elections in most of our strongholds which nearly took us to opposition. But for the intervention of Dr. Bawumia who did a yeoman’s job for the party in the Northern and Savannah regions including some of the traditional areas which increased the party’s chances, NPP would have lost the 2020 elections”.
He noted that even former President and Presidential Candidate for the NDC, John Dramani Mahama will admit that there’s no way he could contest Dr. Bawumia and emerge victorious.
