Ghana Police Told 99% Lie On Me And Threatened To Beat Me- Dr Amoah Speaks On His Arrest

For the first time, the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso has spoken about his infamous arrest that gained media attention.

The MP for Nhyiaeso, Dr. Stephen Amoah, claims the Ghana Police Service told 99% lies on him following his arrest for a road traffic offense.

Speaking on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Movementtvonline.com, Dr. Stephen Amoah popularly known as Sticka stated that he deliberately made a scape goat after he had been threatened to be beaten by the officer who stopped him.

The police told 99% lie on me. I was only following a convoy and they asked me to stay out and I said no. They threatened to beat me and I told them they can’t do that to me. You threaten an MP that you will beat him and as we spoke, someone secretly filmed me and used the footage against me”, he sadly said.

It would be recalled that the La Magistrate Court issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the MP for Nhyiaeso.

This followed the earlier arrest of Dr Amoah for flouting road traffic regulations.
