The Ghana Medical Association must quickly summon the Speaker of Parliament for frequenting Dubai for medical treatment, Paul Yandoh has said.
Mr. Yandoh, who is the New Patriotic Party’s Financial Secretary for Asokwa Constituency, stated on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Movementtvonline.com that there are well-trained doctors in Ghana who can medical treat Mr. Bagbin from the illness he is suffering from.
Addressing Hon. Bagbin’s recent trip to Dubai to seek medical treatment, Mr. Yandoh stated that “why should we have a Speaker of Parliament who is always travelling to Dubai for medical treatment? They (GMA) must summon him because he is indicting their profession. He is insulting all doctors we have in Ghana.”

Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, is scheduled to undergo another medical review in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) barely a week after Parliament’s resumption from recess.
Barring any hitches, he is expected to return to the country on March 4.
This is the third time Mr Bagbin is travelling to Dubai for a medical review. The first was on November 27, 2021, and the second was on January 7, 2022.
