Then candidate Akufo-Addo was very infuriated that he had to sack musician Kwame A Plus from his Nima residence for squandering campaign cash meant for other musicians, Kwame Abronye has revealed.
The Bono Regional Chairman for the NPP indicted A Plus revealing that he pocketed campaign cash meant for his fellow musician Wisa Greid.
Chairman Abronye reveals that then candidate Akufo-Addo decided to honor musicians who had joined his campaign to make it a success by handing over cash to A Plus to distribute to them; but it turned out that when he (APlus) got hold of the money, he diverted it.
For this reason, President Akufo-Addo was infuriated and sacked A Plus from Nima residence the next time he decided to visit him.
“You went to campaign with Wisa Greid and you spent the money Nana Addo gave to all musician. You were sacked from Nana Addo’s residence”, Chairman Abronye said on Wontumi TV’s Nsempa Fie show.
